Sisters in Shelter of Tiffin, Ohio

Mission Statement: Sisters in Shelter provides education and awareness about human trafficking to first responders and the general public. Sisters in Shelter provides the critical first needs for women survivors of human trafficking: emergency safe housing, medical care, safety planning and legal advocacy.

Vision: Sisters in Shelter continues educating the general public and empowers these survivors of human trafficking to become contributing members of society. Sisters in Shelter will provide and/or partner with organizations to have transitional housing to aid in the long term recovery of these survivors.

Prayer: Loving God, we ask you from the depths of our hearts. To enfold in your infinite mercy those who suffer the horrors of trafficking. May your Love strengthen their spirits. Free them from their suffering. And for those disturbed people who traffic in the buying and selling of human beings and thus profit from someone else’s pain, we ask your blessing, that love and respect for others might take root in their hearts. Enlighten us, God, to do what is ours to do, and thus put an end to the evils of trafficking.
